Play-to-Earn Meets Risk-to-Earn
Players initiate an on-chain transaction in order to enter a dungeon, which requires ENERGY. Successfully clearing the dungeon yields GEMS and TIME. Failing to complete the dungeon yields a reduced amount of these Resources.
Players can earn greater amounts of GEMS and TIME per play-though by completing harder dungeons. Players are encouraged to upgrade their character with GEMS to complete harder dungeons.
GEMS can be claimed instantly at the end of each dungeon, while TIME requires the user to wait until they can claim. Harder difficulties have longer claim periods, but yield more TIME.
GEMS are an off-chain resource used to upgrade in-game stats & power-ups.
TIME is an on-chain resource used to purchase cosmetics, new features, & to upgrade the Refinery.
The Refinery is a risk-to-earn-mechanism in which players risk ENERGY in order to earn EXA, the value-layer governance token of the Exaverse. When Refining, ENERGY is used to buy EXA off the market. Depending on the random outcome provided by Chainlink Oracles, the player will receive either more or less than what they would have received if they had bought EXA off the market.
Each Refine earns LUCK based on the amount of ENERGY used. LUCK is used to determine the player's eligibility for that week's EXA epoch emissions.
Each Refine has a fee that is taken which is split between EXA stakers and the team.
Players can utilize the referral system in order to earn a portion of their referral's LUCK.
TIME can be used to upgrade the Refinery, which increases the amount of LUCK earned per Refine, reduces the Refinery fee, and increases the amount of LUCK that the player earns from Referrals.
Players can stake their EXA in order to earn a portion of Refinery fees, paid in ENERGY. Players earn more ENERGY the longer they stake their EXA. Players can also earn additional benefits in the Refinery and when staking EXA by staking EXADON NFTs.
Players can use their ENERGY earned to enter more dungeons, buy Exadon NFTs, or Refine to earn more EXA. As staked EXA yields ENERGY, players only need a small initial deposit to sustain their experience within the Exaverse.
At the maximum amount of 10,000 TIME deposited in the Refinery, 36,500 points earned from EXADON NFT Staking, and from being referred by another player:
