GEMS are an off-chain resource that players accumulate while clearing dungeons. GEMS do not need to be claimed after each dungeon. In order to clear each stage in the dungeon, the player must accumulate a set amount of GEMS in order to proceed to the next stage. There are four types of GEMS, each with a unique effect on the player:

• Green GEMS restore health, but do not count towards the Progress Meter required to clear the dungeon.

• Red GEMS fill the progress meter and provide the Attack Powerup.

• Blue GEMS fill the progress meter and provide the Defense Powerup.

• Yellow GEMS fill the progress meter and provide the Evade Powerup.

Once the dungeon has been cleared, GEMS can be used to boost stats, unlock abilities, upgrade power-ups, and more!
 By upgrading your character with GEMS, you will be able to complete harder difficulties that yield more TIME per play-through.
