Convert ENERGY into EXA
The Refinery is the primary way to earn EXA within the Exaverse. In order to earn EXA, players must utilize ENERGY in the Refinery.
The player's ENERGY is used to market-buy EXA, minus a 2% fee that is taken and distributed between the team and EXA stakers. This fee can be reduced by staking EXADON NFTs, or utilizing TIME to upgrade the Refinery.
The amount of EXA given back to the player is determined by their Risk Tier and its outcome. Regardless of the outcome, players earn LUCK based on the amount of ENERGY used, which qualifies them for weekly EXA epoch emissions.
The Refinery process is as follows:
Player enters the refinery and selects the amount of ENERGY they would like to convert to EXA
Player then selects Risk Tier
Each Risk Tier has its own range of outcomes, probabilities, and LUCK boost.
The Potential Outcomes are the value of the player's ENERGY paid in EXA.
For example, a 1.2x Outcome in Silver on a $100 ENERGY Refine would yield $120 worth of EXA at market price. The probability of this outcome is 20%.

Potential Outcomes: [0.5x, 0.9x, 1.1x, 1.3x, 1.5x, 1.7x, 2.0x, 3.0x]
Probabilities: [35%, 25%, 15%, 10%, 5%, 5%, 2.5%, 2.5%]
LUCK Boost: 1.2x
Diamond (750 TIME to Unlock):
Potential Outcomes: [0.1x, 0.3x, 0.5x, 0.8x, 0.9x, 1.0x, 1.2x, 1.5x, 2.0x, 3.0x, 5.0x, 10.0x]
Probabilities: [20%, 15%, 10%, 10%, 10%, 10%, 7%, 7%, 5%, 3%, 2%, 1%]
LUCK Boost: 1.3x
Player chooses to repeat their Refine up to 10 times in 1 transaction
Player submits the transaction and awaits their outcome
Result is given and player receives EXA, as determined by their outcome
The Player can then choose to repeat the process, upgrade, or return to the home screen.
